I have stumbled across the coolest T-shirts. With fabulous pop culture references, dirty humor and great design these shirts are my next MUST HAVE.
Snorgtees is a t-shirt company that produces great shirts. One reason I have fallen in love with them is the fact that no other person in my town will own one. Although this sounds ridiculous deep down we all love the idea of owning an item of clothing that is highly sort after but impossible to get.
Although graphic tees are becoming increasingly popular amongst the 13-25 market in Orange. Many people are discovering a lack in creativity in the item up for offer. being given a choice between The Smurfs, The Smurfs or Care Bears (I am failing to mention such tee shirts which seem to advertise a both idiocy and promiscuity).
I myself find it rather annoying to have spent my money on a top I really like only to find that EVERY OTHER GIRL IN TOWN OWNS IT! So that I can keep my find secret to the population of my town the one person I have let in on my discovery (besides you dear reader) is my older brother, who has enough taste to help pick out a good tee. As I wait impatiently for Thursday to come (pay day) I find my mouse clicking on the web site so as my eyes may feast upon that which makes me soooooo happy.
Although these is another way in which I could achieve this effect. I COULD buy plain tees and print on them or paint them. It would in the long run be cheaper... but I'm lazy and I don't want to botch up a tee then feel the need to wear it (plus it limits my colour choices).
So on Thursday I shall purchase a new shirt, much to the disgust of my darling Mother. But $16.95 plus postage in American $$$ is not going to break the bank. So until next time I shall say farewell!

Ugg Boots - Pretty or Puke?
Now don't get me wrong I LOVE ugg boots. I happen to own a pair of pink ones. I do how ever have a problem with girls my age wearing them to keep warm in winter... when they team them with a denim mini. I'm also opposed to the idea of "sexy uggs", the type that lace up and hug close to the leg. It seem to be a contradiction in terms.
Ugg boots were originally worn for the sole purpose of keeping a persons feet, ankles and legs warmer in winter. Why were they called "ugg boots"?, The name stems from the appearance of them, THEY ARE UGLY. amazingly comfortable, but not the most aesthetically appealing form of footwear.
Two years ago I purchased a pair of ugg boots to wear on my winter Holiday to the snow. They got wet, sweaty and stained, I kept the same boots for a further year before throwing them out. Why did I do that? I could have easily have gotten some new ones, I kept my old daggy ugg boots because they were still comfortable and still kept me warm. I wasn't wearing them outside so I had no need to worry about how grotty they were.
I really hope that none of my friends buy these new Tammy boots and asks me what I think (I'm not very good at being tactful). So if consulted on whether or not to purchase some ugg boots I will simply suggest a pair of fabulously daggy uggs.

On Saturday night I was at the Orange Show with my friends T and her friend J. All night all I could hear was the dragging of feet... not just any feet but feet wearing ugg boots. Now this had the effect to annoy me hugely as this was completely in appropriate for the show(The Orange Show is held at the show grounds which are mostly dirt). It got me thinking, who sells these horrible "hot" ugg boots?
In my local Williams the showmen store I was horrified to see a pair of "Tammy" ugg boots. I had been desperately hoping that the wearing of ugg boots out of doors would end this year. It occurred to me that these boots go against the very spirit of ugg boots.Ugg boots were originally worn for the sole purpose of keeping a persons feet, ankles and legs warmer in winter. Little Red Beret

Last night I got a phone call from my local Blue Illusion store, the women on the other end of the line( I can't for the life of me remember her name!) told me that the red Beret I had ordered had arrived.
About a month ago a Blue Illusion catalogue arrived on my door. As I was flipping through the pages my eye was caught by a beautiful grey beret with flowers on it. Later that day my friend and I were down town waisting some time before hitting the library for study, we decided to have a look in Blue Illusion. I was walking up and down the shop trying to locate the beret when the women behind the counter asked if I needed a hand. After talking to the women I had been promised that I would be the first person called when they arrived.
This morning when I woke up it took me a mere 5 minutes to be dressed and ready for some shopping. Another 10 minutes later and I was in Blue Illusion handing over my debit card to purchase my new winter hat. I was very surprised to find that it only set me back $34.95, quite a bargain for 100% wool.
So even though it wont match most of my winter wardrobe, it will be a favorite for years to come. I'm even lucky enough to have somewhere to wear it to, the Orange Show is on tomorrow, and as everyone in the central west knows, if you want rain just hold the Orange Show.

Welcome
Welcome to my humble blog. I Should probably introduce myself. I'm Teenshoeaddict. Hmm... that's going to annoy me in future, how about we just say TSA? Yes, I like that. Why shoe addict? (I'm not going to explain the teen bit as...well... it's pretty obvious!) Well at the moment I have in my possession 31 pairs of shoes. Though not nearly as impressive as say Imelda Marcos's, but for a high school student working at a fast food outlet with parents who don't pay for anything but school supplies, it is a rather impressive haul (well better than some of my darling friends).
Now this blog won't be the typical teenage rant, thought I'm sure I will at one stage, but a diary of my shopping expeditions as well as my great Internet finds. I am trying to save my money for an upcoming holiday to Fiji, but even the most restrained of us feel the need to buy clothing, shoes and accessories, for therapeutic needs of course.
My most recent purchase was actually made while I should have been buying a friends birthday present (I'm not totally devoid of feeling I got my friend a nice necklace). I really liked this necklace, not only because it matches the winter colours in Australia (gun metal grey, pink, black and purple are HUGE this year), but I also loved the little swallows

which hang off the chain. Although not a really big fan of long necklaces I have found that doubling the chain shortens it and add a little extra to the piece. This necklace was from my local Diva, it only cost me around $17 in all. A rather nice necklace at a rather nice price.
